Thanks for participating in the Fun Deficiency Syndrome Assessment
It is important to note that a chronic lack of fun over time can result in low self-esteem and the inability to enjoy activities that were once fun. People suffering from chronic FDS will claim to lack the time or motivation to seek out new activities and may feel that seeking fun is a complete waste of time.

Keep the FUN in FUN-damentals.
Not everyone can have fun all the time, but there are things that you can continue to do to incorporate fun into your life.
Continue to use your IMAGINATION. PLAY. And LET GO.
Here Are 5 Simple Strategies To Keep The FUN in your life:
- Fun includes happiness, amusement, exhilaration, laughter and joy, so look for experiences that meet these needs
- Build white space into your daily schedule that allows you to indulge in activities that bring joy
- Refresh your activities. Try something new
- Develop a Humour First-Aid Kit and fill it with your favourite jokes, clippings, and stories
- Say YES to experiences with friends and family that build joy. Fun is always more fun when it is shared with other people. It stimulates serotonin and oxytocin, two neurochemicals essential to feelings of security and being loved.
Remember that if you are having real fun, you will never regret it.
